That’s why ScriptMe enables you to quickly generate subtitles and export them in useful formats to you. For example, SRT files are one of the most widely used formats in the industry for subtitles, so makes exporting to this format a breeze.

  • To begin with, you’ll need to Register for a account or log in if you already have one.
  • Once there, in your dashboard, you’ll see a list of all your transcriptions and subtitles. If you don’t have any subtitles yet, we have guides on how to generate subtitles from a video/audio in minutes. However, if you do have subtitles ready, just click the “See subtitles” button to go to the subtitles edit page:

  • That will take you to the ScriptMe edit page. If you want to learn more about using this page for editing your subtitles, we’ve prepared some guides here. To proceed with exporting your subtitle file, simply click the “Export” button:

You will now see the export popup window. From the dropdown, make sure to select the “SRT File (.srt)” option and then click the “Export” button:

Your download should start instantly. When it’s done, you can find your SRT subtitles file in your default download folder. You can immediately start integrating this subtitles in your video and audio projects. 


And, voila, you now have access to your subtitles in the .SRT file format.
